Precisamos construir planos estratégicos nacionais alinhados com os guidelines éticos para nortear a regulação jurídica da Inteligência Artificial. Para responder de forma justa e eficaz aos novos desafios robóticos, o Direito precisa se adaptar, dando uma atenção cada vez maior à regulação by design e permitindo se valer de novas bases ontológicas e epistemológicas, alinhado com a proteção dos direitos humanos. Esse foi o tema da minha fala no “Brazil Legal Symposium” na faculdade de Direito de Harvard, fazendo minha leitura sobre como devemos construir as bases das novas “leis dos robôs” e como os governos devem se preparar para o impacto da AI nos próximos anos.

We need to build national strategic plans aligned with ethical guidelines to guide the legal regulation of Artificial Intelligence. In order to respond in a fair and effective way to the new robotic challenges, Law must adapt, giving ever greater attention to regulation by design and allowing the use of new ontological and epistemological bases, aligned with the protection of human rights. This was the topic of my talk at the “Brazil Legal Symposium” at Harvard Law School.
